Abstract:
The enduring torment of progressive thinkers across generations is gaining acceptance for simple ideas that are plainly in the interests of people, organizations, and society. Advances in progressive practice are incredibly slow and often halted because the types, quantities, and effectiveness of barriers are not understood at the level needed to efficiently advance progressive thinking and practice. The challenge is to dig much deeper to understand what is truly going on, and thus be more responsive to critically important human needs in rapidly changing times. Bob Emiliani will expose the barriers hidden from view through a broad historical perspective that informs present day problems and points the way towards possible solutions.
